That makes water hygiene a daily part of growing. You want to keep water clean, without adjusting your process every time volumes shift or conditions change. Priva offers two UV-C disinfection systems for that: the Priva Vialux M-Line and the Priva Vialux M-Line HT, together the Priva Vialux-Line.
When water travels, so does risk
When you use irrigation water, its quality directly shapes what your crop does next. Fungi, nematodes, bacteria, and viruses (tomato virus, ToBRFV) travel silently through shared water systems, often showing no symptoms until root damage or uneven growth is already visible across compartments.
At the same time, you are working to reduce discharge, save on fertilizers, and meet local regulations. That requires disinfection you can count on, every day, regardless of what the water is doing. The question is simple: Does the water to your crop meet the standard you set for it?
The problem shows up late. The water moved first.
Water problems often show up late. By the time you trace inconsistent growth or rising disease pressure back to the irrigation water, it has already moved through the whole system.
During peak demand, that risk is highest. UV-C disinfection keeps up automatically: dosing adjusts to actual water conditions so irrigation keeps running without interruption. Problems stay out of the crop before they start.
Two systems, one decision
The Vialux M-Line is designed for drain water disinfection. If you reuse water from the substrate and need reliable, continuous treatment regardless of changing organic load, this is the system that fits your daily operation. If your operation is shifting from rockwool to organic substrates like cocopeat, water transmission can drop significantly. That is something to factor into how you size and configure your disinfection setup.
The Vialux M-Line HT is built for high-transmission water sources, such as rainwater or pre-conditioned incoming water. At higher transmission levels, it treats water more efficiently, reducing investment and operating costs per cubic meter while maintaining the same disinfection reliability.
The Vialux M-Line and Vialux M-Line HT share the same foundation: measured, automatic UV-C dosing that adjusts to actual water conditions without manual tuning.
