We believe that trusting in talent and allowing room for development brings out the best in people. The personal development of our employees is essential for ensuring that Priva can (continue to) operate successfully.
We like to see these ambitions reflected in our employees. At Priva, the personal development of employees is essential for successfully conducting business, both now and in the future. You are responsible for shaping your own career. This can be achieved within a specific job or by following a number of steps on a career path towards a different position in the future.
The Priva Academy was set up to facilitate the growth and development potential of our Priva employees. You can, for instance, develop yourself by participating in collective training sessions, taking specific courses or carrying out challenging tasks or projects. All of this will be appropriate to your own development and will take place in consultation with your supervisor.
Ensuring a healthy work-life balance is an important principle for Priva. Flexible working hours, the option of working part-time and taking (additional) leave can all be arranged. Of course, in this respect it is important that there shall be a balance between your wishes and Priva's business interests.
We can also see a balance between thinking and doing. Priva’s headquarters is located in De Lier, in the heart of the Westland municipality in the Netherlands. Westland is the sustainable and dynamic greenhouse horticulture center of the world, where entrepreneurship, innovations and nature come together. In addition, Priva is close to the "knowledge city" of Delft and the center of government in The Hague, so there is a veritable wealth of brainpower on our doorstep.
“If we handle our natural resources in a smarter way, there will be enough for everyone, without us exhausting Mother Earth”
“At Priva, we believe in working together in order to work better. Our head office in De Lier reflects that principle. It is transparent: we work in open spaces where there are various possibilities for meeting each other.”
Priva is a ‘hands-on’ organization, which fosters teamwork and mutual respect and where our employees quickly feel at home. Creating a pleasant working environment for our staff is very important to us, and we believe that this results in better performance. It is no coincidence that our company ethos can be summarized by the phrase "show respect, be involved, and make it happen!"
Priva is a family business. This is manifested in various ways. For instance, in our mutual commitment to each other: We like to invest in long-term relationships with our employees. And also in our long-term focus, which involves reinvesting a large proportion of our profits in development and innovation. It is no accident that Priva is one of the top 30 companies that invest the most in Research & Development.
At Priva, we believe in working together in order to work better. Our head office in De Lier reflects that principle. It is transparent: we work in open spaces where there are various possibilities for meeting each other.
