Knowledge session ‘A stable climate by using gap control’
If you close the curtains in the greenhouse completely, this will affect the greenhouse climate. Both temperature and humidity in the greenhouse can increase and can rise to undesired levels because of the insulating effect of the curtain.
But how do you ensure a stable greenhouse climate when the curtains are closed? You can do this by using the gap control in the Priva Connext. This control makes it possible to create a situation in which the air exchange between the air under the curtain and the air above the curtain is just enough to bring the greenhouse temperature and humidity to the desired level without many fluctuations.
The outdoor conditions also influence the actions of the gap control. At lower outside temperatures, only small actions of the gap control are necessary. It is possible to adjust the actions automatically to the outdoor conditions. Priva Consultant Paul Jense will discuss the gap control in more detail during the knowledge session. Different Priva departments are represented during the sessions, so feel free to ask your questions!
