Yahoo! announced their intention this week to acquire Overture.
The deal is valued at $1.62 billion. IMHO,
it looks like a done deal. I wrote in a previous article that
Yahoo! freed up nearly $750 million in cash, and you just don't
do that unless you're going to buy something big. I mentioned
that I thought Overture was a logical acquisition for them.
